Live: final round of USPGA Championship

6:25am: The birdie storm has ended and its now thundering down with bogeys.

Stenson on the seventh, Day on the 17th.

Meanwhile, the Dufner has played some smart golf, he chipped out onto to the fairway and got up and down from there. Furyk dodged a bullet and sank a long par-saving putt.

6:14am: I know he is not the most spectacular golfer walking the fairways, but Jim Furyk is finally showing signs of life as he sinks a long birdie putt on the sixth to reclaim a share of the lead.

The news is not so good for the Dufner as he is in jungle country with a wayward tee shot on the seventh.

6:02am:Jason Day's charge has finally come to an end. He has been playing cross-country golf for the past three holes and he cannot save par despite nearly holing out from the bunker.

Meanwhile, the Dufner is on fire. Leaving the ball stone dead on the difficult fifth hole.

The other big mover of the day, Scott Piercy, has also racked up a bogey on the 15th as the top three begin to pull clear of the field.

5:52am: There has finally been a birdie in the final pairing. Dufner holes out with a good up and down on the fourth hole.

Jason Day has had an adventurous two holes but has managed not to drop any shots, but despite being six under for the round he needs more birdies.

Unfortunately, Adam Scott could not escape punishment on the sixth hole when his ball plugged in the bunker.

5:40am: After trying to drive the green on the 14th hole, Jason Day has somehow managed to salvage par despite being 60 metres left of the green after his tee shot.

Henrik Stenson has kick-started his round with an eagle on the fourth to move within one shot of the lead.

Rory McIlroy meanwhile had a triple bogey on the fifth.

5:33am: Adam Scott has just birdied the fourth hole while Furyk and Dufner continue their all-par start.

McIlroy's round has gone to bits on the par-four fifth hole. He has played five and is yet to be on the green.

Meanwhile, Jason Day is in all sorts of trouble on the 14th.

5:26am:Jason Day taps in for a birdie on the 13th - his sixth in eight holes.

Rory McIlroy finds trouble on the fifth. He found the centre of the green but the ball gently rolled towards the hazard and is now sitting among some rocks.

Adam Scott meanwhile has a very gettable birdie putt on the fourth hole.

5:19am: Early predictions of a McIlroy birdie on the fourth have proved unfounded. He missed a short putt.

Jason Day's charge shows no sign of stopping. He is nearly on the par five 13th in two.

5:14am:Jim Furyk has dodged a bullet on the first hole, getting up and down from 100 metres.

Meanwhile Jason Day has done it again, he has birdied the 12th hole to go five under.

One of the Swedes, Jonas Blixt is going backwards, bogeying the first two holes.

Rory McIlroy is poised for another birdie on the fourth hole.

5:05am:Adam Scott is back in business after dropping a snaking, slippery birdie putt on the second hole while Scott Piercy has just snared another birdie on the 11th.

5:01am: The two Swedes make bogey on the first, Furyk is in the rough on the left while Dufner misses to the right. It's all happening on the first hole.

4:57am:Jason Day has just missed a very gettable birdie putt. Apparently 10 feet is too close, he prefers putts that a 20-plus metres.

The leaders Jim Furyk and Jason Dufner are just about to tee off as the two Swedes, Stenson and Blixt find trouble on the first.

4:52am: Adam Scott missed the short putt for par as did Lee Westwood on the second.

4:45am:Jason Day has done it again. He has just sunk another long putt on the 10th to go four under.

Meanwhile Adam Scott puts a difficult chip within three feet to save par.

4:39am:Adam Scott and Steve Stricker have just started their fourth round. Both went left, Stricker just on the fringe of the fairway, Scott is in the heavy rough.

Meanwhile, both McIlroy and Westwood scambled to make par on the first.

4:36am:Jason Day has just sunk a monster putt on the ninth, the commentators estimated it took 11 seconds to get to the hole. He is now 3 under in a tie for seventh.

4:30am: Big move: The golfer whose name rhymes with Who Weekly, is on the charge with a 4 under front nine, to be three under overall.

4:29am: The UK's two big hopes, Rory McIlroy and Lee Westwood, have just teed off on the first. McIlroy is in the rough on the right, while Westwood was wayward and is in the trees on the left.

4:25am: Lot's of sub-par scores coming through from the early markers which suggests that Adam Scott cannot expect Jim Furyk and Jason Dufner to come back to the field.

4:18am: It's official - Tiger Woods cannot win. He posted an even par round of 70 but he is two shots shy of current clubhouse leader, Miguel Jiminez of Spain.

4:15am:Jason Day has shot up the leaderboard and is in a tie for 10th after three birdies in four holes. He is currently 2 under par.
